The new Air Italy was formed in 2018 through the merger of Meridiana and the old Air Italy. The company, 49% owned by Qatar Airways, is operating the 737NG and MAX as well as A330s and 767s to be replaced by 787s and is currently operating service to 34 destinations.

Just Planes was lucky to be present for the inaugural service from Milan to Miami in the cockpit of the Airbus A330-200 with the crew presenting all aspects of the flight, aircraft, route and a lot more including the usual great views on takeoff, landing and during the flights.
