Airblue started operations in 2004 with a fleet of Airbus A320s on domestic routes in Pakistan. In 2007 the airline inaugurated its first long haul route to Manchester using the Airbus A321. Recently Airblue acquired a pair of Airbus A340s and began operating its route to Manchester without a stop in Istanbul.
