Cinch
up your seatbelts for this one folks! Some real
"Seat of the pants" visual flight rules stuff by
pilots who are no "Systems Managers". Even the
approaches to large runways are low and tight.
Great bonus footage of the St Maarten Airport. I
think I know where I'm going on my next trip!

What
impressed me the most was the quality of the multi
channel sound track especiallay with a headset: you
are in the cockpit! I know the DeHavilland
TwinOtter very much, this is life like. Great
service, great products, you just made a new
customer very happy and we hope to do more business
with you in a near future. Pascal, FRANCE
Congratulations
and hats off to the WAR team for producing one
outstanding program on Winair and their Twin Otter
operations with St Maarten and the vicinity. I was
extremely inpressed with the scenery and camera
perspectives of this program. Our flights into Saba
Island were like landing at taking off on an
aircraft carrier minus the arrestor cables. Our
flights into St. Barth were a real rush where it
felt you literally were nose diving in there,
avoiding the highways by a very small height and
then flaring all of a sudden for a nice landing
into that airport. This type of flying is like
Bush-style in the Caribbean. These pilots must love
the environment in which they are flying out of. I
think I would love to fly for an airline like this
one day. The tour of the hotel, its facilities and
the best place to rent a car were much appreciated
for someone like myself who plans on vacationing in
St. Maarten hopefully in the near future. Also, it
was very nice to show viewers some heavy metal
action that comes into and departs from Princess
Juliana, a truly unique airport. They must
have wanted to put a jet blast deflector there for
years but due to the close proximity of the runway
and the beach, this was probably not possible as
aircraft want to have as much available runway as
possible when operating into and out of the
airport. We also got nice walkarounds of the Twin
Otter and a good cockpit description within the
program. Lots of flights with many takeoffs and
landings also make this video an enjoying one to
watch. This DVD is now in my Top 5-10 favourites in
the WAR series. Congratulations again on one
outstanding program. Jeff

By
far the most exciting DVD of my collection. The St
Barths & Juliana Approaches and SABA scared the
hell out of me and I have already tried these
approaches on my FS2004 Flight Simulator. The
pilots must have a lot of courage or just stupid to
want to fly into such small places SABA. Very
professional indeed. Cheers WorldAirRoutes

OUTSTANDING!
In this DVD there's everything I was looking for:
the spectacular landings at St. Barth's island and
Saba, the touchdown of big liners at St. Marteen
intl. airport, the wondeful scenery of the
Caraibbean! It's a dream! If you are also a Flight
Simulator fan, you can try all the trips and
understand how hard is to land on those airports.
Congratulations! Francesco

I
am very fond of the Twin Otter and I really love
the Winair flights around St Maarten and St Barths.
I have just installed more accurate scenery for St
Barths on my Flight Simulator 2004 and have
been reenacting some of the hairy landings. I want
to go to St Maarten now just for airliners
landing and local hops to the crazy STOL
runways in the area. The sound is great on all the
dvds and I have my neighbours complaining about my
droning subwoofer. I pop on my headphones and I
might as well be flying with these guys and
gals. Kimberly

Just
a spectacular DVD. It is the first justplanes DVD
that I have ever viewed and I was pretty
impressed.

Thank
you for another fantastic DVD! After a steady diet
(in real life) of mega airports and mega airplanes,
I really enjoyed the Twin Otter and the small
Caribbean airports. They bring you back to basics!
Keep up the good work.

Hello Just Planes Crew, thank you very much for this fantastic DVD! I stayed in Anguilla last summer and on the approach to Anguilla i could clearly see my hotel from the air! The approaches into St. Barth are amazing!!! I have a lot of Just Planes DVD's, but this one is my number one now because of the sweet memories of my caribbean trip.

It
is a very nice DVD and brought back lots of
memories. My dad used to be training captain for
that company about 15 years ago and he will be
pleased to see this DVD once I give it to him as a
gift for Fathers day. Thanks for a wonderfull
DVD!! Gabriel

Absolutely
breathtaking. Landscapes are marvellous
and the landings and departures at Saba and St
Barth..... wow !!! The multiple angles of view, the
air to air views, the "actions from St Marteen and
St Barth", the quality of the video are really
fantastic. Carribean isles are synonym of Sea, Sex
and Sun and in this Justplane's title you find all
of them .... yes ALL of them ! Patrick

A
fascinating DVD with unbeatable scenery! I was so
excited watching it I nearly had a heart attack!
The landings at St. Barth are simply amazing and my
praise goes to the pilots who have to land there.
Then Saba with the 1000ft runway. When the Twotter
takes off it rotates at the very end where the
cliff starts, and when it lands it only just
manages to stop in time. Then there's St Maarten
which is simply staggering. It was nice to have a
chapter with action from there and seeing the
jumbos coming in. I'm going to start saving up now
so I can visit there - definately a planespotter's
heaven. Some people might complain and say there is
not much cockpit action but it's mostly scenery. I
say, when you're flying around scenery as beautiful
as this, who needs to see the cockpit! Cabin views
are definately much better. Cheers Just Planes,
this is a classic.

I
must say, I've only watched 4 segments and its
already the best DVD you've done. the action at
TNCM is CLASSIC! even my wife says that a vacation
there would do us both good. she would have the
beach...and me, my planespotting! that is....until
she saw the jet blast from the 747 on takeoff!!!
then there's the 2 approaches I watched........
St Bartholemy..... that's better than some of the
roller-coasters I've been on! that is some
seriously crazy stuff. cars just below you, that
angle of approach, the mad flare to landing!
wow!
Saba.......geez-o-man! I had heard about the
shortness of the runway there, but you really don't
get a good feel for it until your on short final...
that is a SHORT runway....and if you go too
long....its off the deck! and all this in the
beautiful little Twotter! I'm looking forward to
sitting down and checking out the rest of the DVD.
Either way, in my opinion this one tops em all
already. Chris
