TUIfly, the 217th airline to join the series, brings you the most complete Boeing 737 Next Generation program in the World Air Routes with a series of briefings, presentations, walkarounds...
The program includes our first flight to the Cape Verdi Islands with landings at Boa Vista & Sal and the longest ever 737 flight in the series at over 6 hours! We then fly to Venice with very low visibility resulting in a missed approach followed by an autoland in near zero visibility! The next flight is into Calvi which also offers a difficult approach due to the mountains around the field and we complete with a flight to spectacular Innsbruck located right in the valley! You will also see the instruments during a takeoff and a landing for the first time and a lot more! The DVD features an extended German version!

Worth it just for the visit to Venice & Innsbruck. Impressive to see how effortlessly the 737NG performs the go around in Venice. Additionally the trip around the 'nerve centre' is informative and beneficial to the viewer. Some great destinations and excellent work from the crews makes this a favourite in my collection. Excellent NG DVD. My new favorite! Great to see Cpt. Mombauer again (he flew us to Klagenfurt in the 2003 with the HLX DVD). It was white knuckle when we hit the OM at Venice and then the go around, and trying again the second time was just as tense. Cpt. Mombauer giving the "LANDING" call at the last second. Also loved the extended shots of the PFD/HSI during the take off and landings as well. An excellent DVD. Allan Stiff, CANADA
I liked the scenery on all of the flights – especially Calvi. The missed approach at Venice was very interesting too. Captain Thomas Rohrlack, along with his colleagues, does an excellent job in making this DVD entertaining.

Fantastic in every way, especially the over six hour trip to Cape Verde, missed approach and subsequent autoland into Venice, the visit to Calvi which has some interesting terrain and other considerations, and of course the always spectacular visit to Innsbruck. Crews were great and the extra details in German were certainly welcome for those for whom that is their first language. Tim Herman, USA
