This is probably my favorite DVD from the vast collection that I have acquired over some time. Not only we get to experience a less common aircraft, but we are also exposed to the unusual military ATC in the approach to Kabul. This is a very interesting aircraft and a very professional crew. Also, I loved to see a slide rule on the navigator's table and to see some Nixie tubes in action as he was inputing some data in the system. Real proof that although technology advances, old technologies can still be a workhorse when something needs to be done. Great job! Albert L., USA
I had this DVD as a gift for Christmas I was amazed at what I was watching. This is a fantastic DVD in many way. Once again you got the balance spot on, never too technical, varied scenes, great views out of the lower nose windows of the takeoff and landing runs and of course the countryside. What a barren place that is and the way the crew had trouble with ATC messages. When you have seen our Boeing and Airbus flightdecks and see the cluttered IL 76 front office with all those crew members I am glad to be in a one of our aircraft. The camera positions were great, I liked the one that showed the engine and thrust reverse on landing. Well done Mike and all the team at Justplanes.

I got the Silk Way Airlines DVD for christmas. Wow it is absolutely awsome! It was excellent to see the mountainous land in Afghanistan at the two destinations in this country where a war is going on. The nose views of the takeoffs and landings were interesting views. I also liked the on ground footage at Kabul. It was also very interesting to get a presentation of this Soviet aircraft's cockpit in two parts done by a crew who know a little english. The company presentation did give me a little insight of how the airline works. And last but not least is the preparations for flight AZQ 4113 to Hahn on the ground at Baku from engine start to boarding the aircraft. If you are a fan of Soviet aircraft and airports in Afghanistan then this DVD is a must have!

I
received the Silk Way IL76 DVD today and
immediately watched it. I must say that I found it
quite interesting. The IL76 is a neat looking
aircraft. I was very surprised about the number of
people in the cockpit and the fellow in the nose
section. The views of Afghanistan and and
surrounding areas with the mountains looked real
nice. I applaud the crew for their explanations
about the cockpit with their limited English. It
was nice to hear from the Chief Pilot about the
Company. The nose views and cockpit views were both
very nice. Congrats to WAR Crews and the Crews of
Silk Way. Keep up the Great Work. John

Just
recieved the Silk Way IL-76 DVD. Fantastic
footage!! The scenery through the glass nose is
amazing and the rugged scenery of Afghanistan looks
so beautiful from the air. Hopefully the problems
there are resolved soon. This is my 130th World Air
Routes (no I'm not making that up, I might
actually have some sort of problem but what the
heck they make me happy :-) Udo does a great
program, keep up the great work and I'll keep
buying your products.
