"What an outstanding DVD this is. Every aspect of it is very well done. I really like the contrasts between the older MD82 and the new 737NG. It'a great to have both on one DVD. What really makes this DVD special is the outstanding contribution made by Captain Lars Naur and his crew. Captain Naur gives many explanations of the various aspects of flying and what he is doing in the cockpit. Not only does he explain what he is doing, he also explains why. This gives a real background insight into how these planes are flown. A very professional crew who are a pleasure to listen to. Well done to all involved at Justplanes and SAS for making this DVD. Captain Naur did an amazing job of describing the B737-600 and the HUD system. The video is a must-have for numerous reasons, the scenery is amazing, the pilots give good descriptions and aviation enthusiasts can gain a lot of knowledge about the smallest and rarest member of the B737 family. The flights in the NG segment were awesome including the HUD demonstration . Captain Naur has a nice relaxed cockpit and seems old school and very laid back. The landing footage is excellent as well focusing on the pilots during the landings (what I love to see, the line pilot's in action!). I only wish the DVD was longer! Allan Stiff, CANADA |
There is only one world to describe this program "FANTASTIC". My favorite portion was the B737 program. I have to say Capt Lars Naur did an outstanding job presenting the aspects of each flight in an easy to understand way. Tommy Mogren did some fantastic camera work. The images were crystal clear and the outside taxi shots are always greatly appreciated. I thought the cabin crew presentations were a nice touch and really showed their professionalism.
