Germanwings, Lufthansa's low cost airlines and subsidiary of Eurowings, is based at the Cologne/Bonn International Airport. From there the airline operates daily flights to more than 20 destinations using a modern fleet of Airbus A319s and Airbus A320s. Germanwings continues to add new destinations on a continuous basis.
In this program you will fly both types to a variety of destinations in Austria, France, Germany, Italy, Spain and Switzerland. Pilots give ample flight information, cockpit presentation, external walkaround and much more with excellent views of the pilots during the important takeoff and landing maneuvers. "I have purchased the Germanwings A319/A320 dvd and I am very satisfied. It is very well done and the crew members are extremely skilled and professional. If you are a big Airbus fan, you will love the excellent sidestick view on landing at Cologne from Nice. It is the best Airbus sidestick view I have seen in any video and it shows the full range of sidestick motion during the entire landing cycle. You can see how the aircraft reacts in real time to every input of the sidestick. This dvd is very well done and I highly recommend it.

Bought the Germanwings DVD a while ago and I truly must say, I didn't regret purchase at all. I was slighty dissapointed at first as the pilots had not given exact details and explainations of the system until the last flight although I enjoyed the walk around at Nice Airport but in the end it was worth waiting. Overall a great and entertaining program, great airports on display (including my hometown airport Vienna) and how can someone not love the unique sound of the Airbus. I can truly recommend this program and it's a must-have in every WAR collection.

The Germanwings DVD is among one of the best DVDs featuring the A319/A320. Special thanks should go to Udo Schaefer and Cpt. Oliver Siebert for making this DVD enjoyable. My compliments to Cpt. Siebert for his presentation (e.g. tour of the cockpit, exterior walkaround & approach briefing). Also, special acknowledgement should go to the filming crew for the scenery on all of the flights (e.g. scenery of Barcelona and Nice). I recommend that all viewers buy this DVD.

I've just bought Germanwings DVD. It's wonderful, especially the autoland in a foggy Milan Malpensa. I really enjoyed every Captain's explanation about Airbus. Another wonderful chapter of this DVD is the part filmed in the cabin. It's really relaxing the CFM56' sounds!! Great work.
