Easilly the best aircraft operation video I have seen. For Flight simmers this video is amazingly informative especially with regard to the FMS operation. The sound and video quality is superb. Abbott, NEW ZEALAND
What can I say, another awesome release from Just Planes. I was glad to see Air Austral return to the series with their brand new fleet of 777’s and 737NGS. Their fleet was highlighted beautifully, along with the gorgeous scenery in that part of the world. I love the new camera angles and techniques used by Udo. It really shows that Just Planes is raising the bar with every production. I found the pilots to be very engaging and that is always refreshing to see. It looks like you have just as good a relationship with Air Austral as you do Air Canada. I have the previous DVD you put out on Air Austral and it is excellent. The scenery and service make me want to fly Air Austral and visit these places. With that I was very happy to see another DVD on the 777. Since I am already very familiar with this airplane there was not much new, however I appreciated hearing the differences between the 200ER/200LR/300ER. The 737-800 was especially nice with the scenery and the multiple camera angles in the cockpit. This way it put everything into perspective.
With my 777 DVD library growing, the Turkish Airlines 777-300ER IST-LAX-IST would really make it even better (and give LAX a really good name!) Thank you again for an excellent DVD. Michael Karpf, CANADA
I’ve probably watched every single B777 video that Just Planes has to offer, so I was somewhat sceptical that I would learn anything new from the Air Austral program. After watching this amazing program I can say with all certainty that I was completely wrong. This program is full of detailed and entertaining explanations of the 777 and its systems. The same can be said for the 737 coverage, there are a lot of aspects of the 737-800 covered in the program that I didn’t even know existed. Great content and detailed explanations, amazing visuals, and very friendly and informative pilots make this program another must have for aviation enthusiast.

Program opens with spectacular music and views from Reunion Island, the main base for the airline operations. Pilots are very professional and have good command in English, it takes awhile to get used to their French accents. This is another airline that has confidence for their F/O's to perform taxi operations (in the 777 with the aid of cameras). Extensive 777-300ER cockpit presentation by F/O Miaille.
A good highlight is the presentation by Capt. Parachini on the unique features of the 777-200LR - like it can vitually fly from any two cities around the world - and the differences between the different 777 variants.
Awesome job of F/O Boilevin on the 737-800 cockpit presentation and walkaround where you would learn something about the aircraft that you never knew before. The program ends with a challenging non-precision approach to Reunion in bad weather.
I loved the new camera angles used in this program, especially the overlay of runway and cockpit views during landing. Excellent video and audio quality for this blu-ray. A recommended program rated at 5/5 stars!
