10 years after we first filmed Air Baltic on their Avro RJ70 and Fokker 50 we return to Riga for a new program as the airline has been under serious expansion in recent years.
While this DVD includes the Fokker 50 it really focuses on the newly delivered Boeing 757s as well as on the fleet of Boeing 737-300 and 737-500. Besides a domestic flight within Latvia we take you on routes to Egypt, Finland, Germany, Spain, Sweden, Turkey and the UK. A total of 15 flights are included in this 3 hour program, some great pilot presentations, some cabin footage and aircraft action from Riga Airport.

Fantastic presentation and fantastic airline. All the crews are great, and one of the 757 first officers is especially friendly and informative. It's awesome to see some destinations both in Latvia as well as Scandinavia, Egypt, Turkey, Germany, and the UK. Another outstanding program!

I loved the first flights to HEGN and LTAI with Cpt Gusts and F/O Rajevski. I also love the segment on the ramp at HEGN with F/O Rajevski. He gives excellent details on flight planning, FMC programming and V speed calculations (we also get to watch him set up the route and INT REF pages in the CDU, very cool!). As well during the flight back to EVRA we get details on how they perform fuel checks with explanations . Watching F/O Rajevski and the details he gives on normal day to day 757 flight operations was as much fun as some of the excellent landings showing the crew in action.
I also noticed Cpt. Gusts gave F/O Rajevski two of the three legs (very professional).

I anxiously awaited the arrival of this brand new DVD featuring the 757 and boy was it worth the wait! This was one of the most enjoyable WAR dvd's to watch. The camera work was excellent, with great views of the flight deck on take-off and landing, which is the whole point of these DVD's as far as I am concerned. The crew of the 757's was exceptionally friendly and inviting and extremely informative. I even enjoyed the segment on the Fk-50, even though the 757 and 737 were my reasons for buying this DVD. I strongly recommend this DVD to any WAR customer, it shows the continuing brilliance of the Just Planes Videos production crew and the dedication of the pilots who welcome us on board. Bravo!
